inkPDF is designed with a "Local First" philosophy. Our PDF engine processes all document data locally on your device. We do not upload, store, or have access to the PDF files you render or annotate through our SDK.
To manage subscriptions and prevent unauthorized use, our SDK performs periodic license checks. This involves sending minimal device identifiers and your license key to our servers to verify your MAU (Monthly Active User) count.
We implement industry-standard security measures to protect the minimal data we collect. All communications between the inkPDF SDK and our licensing servers are encrypted via SSL/TLS.
